Belmont College on Friday announced that Dr. Paul Gasparro will serve as the school's next President. Gasparro was unanimously selected by the Belmont College Board of Trustees. His term will begin on August 14, 2014. He most recently served at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland as a District Vice President. ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Police in central Ohio say a man fatally shot a woman after she broke into his apartment. Officers say the man was wounded in the exchange of gunfire with the woman early Thursday at the apartment in Zanesville, about 50 miles east of Columbus. Killed was 39-year-old Kristina Lynne Holskey after she broke into the residence of 46-year-olf Terry McConnell. McConnell was shot in the stomach and was hospitalized in serious condition. The Strand Theatre will take audiences back to the "Roaring 20's" -- as it presents "Chicago, the Musical."Players went through the final dress rehearsal in Moundsville, Wednesday evening, July 30.
