Winter storm dumps between 4 to 8 inches of snow on the Ohio Valley

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) - Many roads are still treacherous in the Ohio Valley Saturday morning. 

WTRF Chief Meteorologist Doctor Dave Walker said about four to six inches of snow has fallen Overnight.

North of Interstate 70 and West of the Ohio River is where the most snow has fallen.

The high temperatures will be near 22 degrees Saturday.

Here are the snow emergency levels for each county:

Belmont level 2

Jefferson level 1

Guernsey level 2

Monroe level 2

Noble level 2

Some of the greatest snowfall reports in the Ohio Valley:

8" Broadacre in Jefferson county, Ohio

7" Cadiz in Harrison county, Ohio

6" Morristown in Belmont county, Ohio

6" Caldwell in Noble county, Ohio

The snow will be ending early this morning.

Wheeling Police Department responded to seven vehicle crashes from 8 p.m. Friday night to 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
