Viewers of WTRF-TV in the Bellaire Cable communities…

We are sad to announce that after months of negotiating with Bellaire Cable to construct a positive relationship and carriage agreement with WTRF, Bellaire Cable has refused to keep its end of the bargain and does not recognize the value of the programming provided by WTRF for its’ subscribers.

While WTRF remains willing to continue good faith discussions with Bellaire Cable, we firmly believe that a penny a day is not an unreasonable request for WTRF’s popular local news, weather and sports and three primary network signals (CBS, FOX, and ABC). This rate is well below the industry standard and it important for you to know that Bellaire Cable is already charging you for this programming.

Please let Bellaire Cable know that you support the local stations, and that a penny a day is a small price for Bellaire Cable to pay in order to provide you your favorite local programming plus network programming from CBS, FOX, and ABC. We sincerely hope that Bellaire Cable will honor the carriage agreement they made with WTRF in June. In the mean time, we apologize for any inconvenience to our loyal viewers caused by the current impass. And we suggest that Bellaire Cable customers seek alternate ways to continue watching WTRF through use of an antenna attached to your high definition or standard definition set.
