WHEELING -- There are new developments in the murder of an Ohio County woman.

Officials have released the name of the alleged accomplice in the death of Kelly Jo Elliot.

Gene Talik of Sewickley, Pa., has already been charged with her murder, and now, another Pennsylvania man is facing a felony in connection with the case.

An information was filed Tuesday by US District Attorney Sharon Potter charging 30-year-old John Deutsch of Freedom, Pa., with one felony count of accessory to murder after the fact.

The document filed alleges that Deutsch knew about the murder and Talik's involvement and helped Talik elude police.

Deutsch was arrested last August at his Beaver County home on charges of receiving stolen property.

He allegedly had items at his house that had been stolen from Elliot's sister's Triadelphia home just before the victim's disappearance.

According to documents filed, Deutsch has been appointed an attorney in the case. It is unclear whether he is in custody.

No court dates have been set yet.

Elliots body was found late last year.
