Allegations of dirty politics are flying around the statehouse in Charleston. A fight to rename a section of Route 16 between Oak Hill and Raleigh County after country music legend Hank Williams Senior is being blamed for the demise of several measures on the final night of the legislative session. The casualties included a bill needed to continue the state's study of possible racial profiling by law enforcement. The measure to rename the road was unanimously adopted by the Senate. But in the House of Delegates, Fayette County Democrat John Pino objected. That's when Pino says a Senate committee retaliated by bottling up several resolutions that were earlier adopted by the House.
