Ohio Man Found Guilty of Raping Young Girls

JEWETT, Ohio -- A jury in Harrison County, Ohio found a Jewett man guilty Thursday on six counts of rape, the county prosecutor said.

William Baer was on trial for allegations that he raped two girls over a period of years

The girls, ages 10 and 8, took the stand to testify earlier this week.

Authorities say Baer could get up to life in prison.

Baer's attorney maintained that the girls' mother made up the incident.
