Former candidate for West Virginia Governor is 33rd to hold the title.

WEST LIBERTY -- Robin Capehart said Saturday he wants to take a good college and turn it into a great university.
Capehart made the comment after taking the oath to become President of West Liberty State College.
Borrowing words from former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, who once visited the campus, Capehart said, "We are going to do this, not because it is easy, but because it is hard."
Capehart was formerly an Associate Professor at Marshall University, Chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party, and candidate for Governor.
Former West Virginia Governor Cecil Underwood was there for the inauguration.
Capehart will lead the college with a history dating back to 1837. At that time, West Liberty Academy was established by order of the Virginia Legislature.
