Jaclyn Johnson says she wants to champion breast cancer research in the Mountain State.
By Josh DeVine
She's got the crown. Now she's on her way! We'd like you to meet your new Mrs. West Virginia.
This year's winner is Jaclyn Johnson. She's from South Charleston, a graduate of Marshall University and a high school teacher.
Contestants from all corners of your state showed up to compete at Morgantown's Met Theatre.
West Virginia Media's April Kaull served as Emcee for the competition.
Johnson says she's proud to represent West Virginia and the fight against breast cancer.
She will now advance to the Mrs. America competition later this year.
