Hot Pocket Recall Due to "Foreign Materials"

Recall affects pepperoni pizza style only.

By Craig McKee

There is a recall affecting 215,660 pounds of frozen pepperoni hot pockets possibly contaminated with "foreign materials."

The recall affects those made on June 5th that are labled: 54-ounce, 12-pack cartons of "hot pockets pepperoni pizza" brand stuffed sandwiches. You can also look for the printed information on the side of each carton: "815744614D" "EST 7721A and "BEST BEFORE JAN2010."

There were some consumer complaints regarding the hot pockets, but there are no reports of injuries.
