ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- Police said a teenage boy got off the bus in St. Clairsville around 2:40 Thursday afternoon at 67631 Graham Road, and discovered a man pinned under his lawn tractor.

Cumberland Trail Fire Department and paramedics were on the scene moments laterbut they said it appeared the man had been dead for quite some time.

Chief Greg Reline with Cumberland Trail said, " It appears that there was an elderly gentleman that was mowing his lawn and it appears that the tractor got on too steep of a bank and the tractor rolled over on top of him. The initial call was a person pinned underneath of a tractor. And like I say, it appears he was on too steep of a bank and it rolled on top of him."

Officials say it was a large lawn tractor and not farm machinery.

Deputy Coroner Jack Morgan was called to the scene and we are told he is still on the case.

The victim's name was not yet being released.
