Senior Living Apartment Complex Catches On Fire In Harrison County, Ohio

Authorities say the fire spread to six apartments.

HARRISON COUNTY, OHIO -- In Harrison County, Ohio an apartment complex for elderly residents burst into flames today.

Sheriff Mark Miller confirms for 7 news that the apartment building, located on Route 1-51, caught fire before noon today.

According to reports, an elderly woman's electric wheelchair caught fire and then spread to her apartment..

Authorities say a total of six apartments were destroyed.

The state fire Marshall's office has been called in to investigate.

No one was injured but eight people are homeless.

The Red Cross has been called in to help.
