WHEELING -- The 59th Annual St. Vincent de Paul Parish School Independent Basketball Tournament is rescheduled for Monday, April 20 – Sunday, April 26 in the St. Vincent de Paul School gymnasium. The repair under the gymnasium floor will be finished several weeks ahead of schedule.

Over 50 teams will compete in this year’s tournament in ten divisions. This year will include an alumni rivalry division which will feature class rematches of local high school teams. Other divisions include 7/8th grade boys, 7/8 grade girls, high school boys, high school girls, WV and Ohio all stars, parochial and PAC 8 all stars, over 30, over 40 and an open division.

The St. Vincent Independent Basketball Tournament is the primary fundraiser for our children’s athletic programs. Through the support of this tournament, St. Vincent has been able to offer quality athletic programs to the children of St. Vincent School. These athletic programs consist of a football team, basketball teams for boys and girls, cheerleading squads and pep club for SVS students in grades 5 – 8.

To register a team, place an ad in the program or for more information, please contact Bob Trenton at 304-547-5497 or St. Vincent de Paul School at 304-242-5844.

St. Vincent de Paul Parish School is located at 127 Key Avenue in the Elm Grove section of Wheeling.
