By Nate Fluharty

WHEELING -- It has become an annual event for students in Ohio County and Bridge Street Middle School.

This morning students from Bridge Street will be hitting the streets and the Heritage Walking Trail to highlight the importance of being active and staying healthy.

Officials from the Ohio County Board of Education and members of the Chamber YMCA sponsor the event called, "Healthy Kids Day."

The students will be walking 2 miles beginning at Bridge Street Middle School in Elm Grove and ending at the YMCA where they will be served a healthy lunch.

The walk begins at 12:45 and 7 News will have much more later in the day.
