SCIO  -- Local Sheriff's met in Scio to discuss issues facing their departments. All agree that budget cuts are the biggest problems they face.

During this Special Report Guernsey County Sheriff Mike McCauley says that since 2005, he has lost 9 deputies. Sheriff Fred Abdalla says he is hoping to house illegal aliens in his jail. In fact, he says he has just signed an agreement with Pittsburgh and Columbus who accepted housing any illegal aliens arrested in the Jefferson County Jail.

7 News will have more on today's meeting in Scio tonight on 7 News at 6.
