Bethesda, Ohio -- Retired Lt. Colonel Brandon Blizzard spoke to a crowd gathered in downtown Bethesda today. The hometown boy now a decorated Army veteran still puts in 70 hours a week.

Speaking during a homecoming event Lt. Blizzard says he never forgot his small town roots. The Bethesda native now resides in Washington D.C. He tells 7 News that as America celebrates it's freedom, he fears that terrorists will rear their ugly heads. Blizzard says he believes the only reason terrorists haven't been hit since 911 is because they believe that the U.S. Military is still looking for them.

I want to thank you for an excellent report on Bethesda"s Memorial day celebration. I was in Bardons Class at school and am very proud of him and what he has done for this country, In school he was voted as most likey to succedd, and he proved us right, he was also very humble and down to earth as a young man, he had an excellent speech as I know he would have and was so nice to see him again after many years of being away.
