JM defeated University , while the Blue Dons whipped Cameron to move on.

WHEELING -- Casey Defibaugh went the distance as John Marshall defeated University in the region one class AAA semi-final in Glen Dale.

Defibaugh struck out nine while yielding no walks in the shut out victory.

Travis Whitfield and Zane Madden hit solo home runs in the third inning to give the Monarchs a 2-0 lead.

JM will face Fairmont Senior in the regional final , Wednesday. The Polar Bears defeated East Fairmont 8-6.

In class A , Weir Madonna took care of Cameron in five innings with a 10-0 win .

Max Nogay got the win striking out seven with three walks while allowing only two hits. The Blue Dons will face the Wirt County - Williamstown winner in the regional final on Wednesday.
