WEIRTON -- The Regional Visoning Project is a group formed for every day people to offer input and ideas on how to grow the 30 county, four-state region in the future.
Allen Kukovich heads the project and today listened to leaders from Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania to hear first hand how the area can tie together and create economic opportunity.
Kukovich says the most success will come from the region tying itselft together and capitolizing from the strength each community has. Some of those strenghts include the Pittsburgh Airport, the Ohio River and the areas interstate travel.
The Regional Visioning Project has a nearly $2-million dollar budget and is funded in large part by the Benedum, Richard K. Mellon, and Pittsburgh Foundations as well as Heinz Foundations.
