Dojack is nothing but a bully and I don't feel sorry for him.

I know Chad Dojack and his family from Bellaire. He comes from a line of look at me and what I bought on my maxed out credit card type of people. He then married into a family well known for having crooked ways of doing things within the village of Bridgeport. He got caught up in the moment of trying to please his high maintance wife who wears Bebe jeans and carries expensive purses such as Coach, DG, and Prada. Not to mention the jewelry and etc. she has to have to try to outdo others. He saw an easy way to score some serious cash and with a new home being built and all the expenses he has it looked like a dream come true. We all know the police don't make crap. He was probably barely staying afloat and in debt for sure. He was probably approached by his wife's family and coached on how to get Chief Carpenter to help him. It was all planned out and a scheme. I think it is funny that it blew up and it should be a lesson to all police to not use their position to obtain personal gain. Dirty money almost always ends up being no money. Let it be a lesson learned. I just feel bad for Dojack's child having to grow up knowing his father made national news and committed a crime. The Dojack name will now be known only his crime and nothing else. If he goes to prison his child will be fatherless. What an idiot!

Barneys inlaws owns the Hillside motel ,out of the kindness of their hearts they let the out of town news stay for free at the motel , That is good news for the Homeless go and tell them you are CNN & National Enquirer.Probably after a nice DONATION to their Favorite Charity, The Callaric Foundation. So they got ahold of Barney and had him get a hold of rhe Chief of Martins Ferry to set up the meeting with CNN & the Enquirer . So chief Barney 2 Bullets & Chief Columbo decided to do a neighbor hood watch at Martins Ferry on a report of a woman who wanted to do good & was carrying twins for a couple that did not want the publicity because of who they were . so Barney & Columbo wasn't going to stand for that & exposed the no good do gooder and broke in her house to get evidence at no Charge to the out of town News staying at Barneys Inlaws for free out of the kindness of there HEARTS . HOW dare Local News Accuse Barneys Inlaws of planning this hole sceam for money. Barney is Building Mrs 2 Bullets a new Home that he has worked so hard for to pay out of his hard earned money and every body elses he can get. So they had Mayor Callarick do a very thorough and unbious investigation on these accusation from the local News , it does not matter if Barney is Married to his Grandaughter which is the dispatcher for Bridgeport P.D , He SHOWS no Favortism when it comes to the law . So after his investigation he found no wrong doing On Baney 2 Bullets & Columbo's actions Doesn't the local News know who they are . they will be kicking down your door next. lets hope this neutral prosecutor checks Barneys Family out for there envolvement in this case they always thought they was above the law . You keep doing your Granpa Mayors & inlaws dirty work and hopefully we get to see your prison Photo . Your Town is Proud of you GO BARNEY 2 BULLETS

Its about time someone opens up the corruption that goes on in in police department down in Martins Ferry. As a former resident, I am definitely not surprised at this at all. Its just a shame that residents rights are getting trampled on in the privacy of their own homes. I hope that the actors make sure these two get punished if its proven what they did is fact instead of this incident getting swept under the carpet, as so many others have.

there has been corruption in these two towns for years It is sad that it has to involve high profile people for anyone to look into any of the deception, lies, corruption, or any other unjust activities that has been going on as a former resident of this area I not only am ashame to say I am from there because of past exprience but look at what the future is holding. Martins Ferry once on ESPN as a football town now the butt of every late nite talk show as " Gotta be the Dumpest"

I agree with ashamed to be a west v what other crimes have they commited. Why are they still on the job possibly tampering with and covering up evidence. They should be placed on UNPAID leave until this is settled..

My question of the day is why are these officers still working the streets and not suspened until the case is resolved? I know of other police officers that have been accused of alot less and have been taken off their jobs until their names were cleared. If you cant trust your police department, who can you trust? These are the people that are suppose to be protecting us. Do you feel safe?

Hmmmm.....not quite sure what a WVian would be ashamed of, as this story clearly stipulates that it happened across the river in the state of Ohio. Well, now that I think of it, there may be at least one thing.

I couldn't agree more. I HOPE AND PRAY that these two officials are not truly involved in these allegations. Unfortunately, because the love of MONEY is the root of all evil, people who may have good character do THE STUPIDEST THINGS for money. This economy being the way it is DOESN'T HELP! Unforunately, the mere allegations brings with it NEGATIVE VIEWS of both the Martins Ferry and Bridgeport communities, even if the cheifs are later proven innocent. All anyone will EVER REMEMBER is that they were "under investigation" for these crimes. As for the surrogate mother, what makes anyone think that the "cheifs" had anything on her in order to invade her home. I know a little something about the law and search and seizure laws. If they were involved in these crimes, what would stop them from "coming up with some charge" in order to legally cover their butts to enter her home? If they truly are involved, then wouldn't they twist things to make it look like they had "probable cause" to enter her house? Prisons are full of crooked law enforcement personnel.......at least the ones that have gotten caught. There are others who haven't been caught yet. Again, I pray for the communities of Ferry and Bridgeport and I pray that these chiefs are cleared. In the end, no matter what is found, this will leave a black mark on what surrounding communities think of our towns.

One more thing......I think that the surrogate is doing something nice for someone else. Yes, she is being paid for it. That is the agreement between her and Sarah and Matthew. LEAVE THEM ALL ALONE! Yes, Sarah and Matt are celebrities and should expect some intrusions on their privacy SOME TIMES. But, take away their careers and all that money, they are human beings the same as the rest of us! Let them live their lives. If I truly wanted to, I know someone who knows someone who could find out the name of the surrogate, but, and this is the kicker, I DON'T CARE!!!!! If society spent more time worry about their own problems than what's going on in their "neighbor's" lives, this world would be a much better place. God bless us all.

Okay people...look at the big picture: If they did this high risk crime for money...what easier less intrusive crimes have they already committed in their career as law enforcement????? They should reopen everything they touched and every allegation of misconduct ever filed against them! THESE MEN are a disgrace to the profession and should be disgraced in the media if they committed this crime!

First thought: both chiefs investigated makes me wonder what they might have already had on the surrogate mother to begin with. And my second thought is, great, they wanted a story, and now they ARE the story.

I PRAY THAT THESE PUBLIC OFFICIALS DID NOT HAVE ANY INVOLVEMENT IN THIS CRIME. NOT ONLY WOULD IT IMPACT THEIR FUTURE AND THEIR FAMILY, BUT WOULD DEGRADE THE COMMUNITY. WHAT WILL WE TELL OUR CHILDREN IF THIS IS TRUE? WE MUST HAVE A VALUE SYSTEM THAT IS ABOVE JUST MONEY!!

This is such a shame. To put your career along with your family on the line all for a 'story' is unbelievable. Who do you trust anymore when the law is on the wrong side? This is why people prefer to 'take care of their own' by themselves. I surely have no faith in the area where I live in the police. Sad, but true.
