MARTINS FERRY, OHIO -- Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick 5' 11oz and Tabatha Hodge Broderick 6 pounds are expected to be released from East Ohio Regional Hospital on Thursday
Sources tell 7 News Reporter Dave Elias that Parker and Broderick spent Tuesday at the hospital with the surrogate. Broderick were told has returned to New York for work, while Parker remains at the hospital.
We are also learning that Parker is considering making some type of announcement before she leaves the hospital with the twins.
However, Hospital Spokesperson Maggie Espina would not confirm or deny our reports. She would only say that the hospital has no comment at this time.
Security at the hospital remains tight. We're told additional guards have been brought in and even more are on standby, if needed, as this story is getting national attention. There is late word that security guards are told they will no longer be needed at the hospital after Thursday.
All of this comes on the heels of an investigation that centers on the Martins Ferry Police Chief and nearby Chief Chad Dojack who allegedly conspired to break into the home belonging to surrogate mother and allegedly take pictures of plaster paris mold the woman had made outlining her pregnant stomach.
Harrison County Prosecutor Shawn Hervey tells wtrf.com that the investigation is still ongoing.
We have confirmed today that BCI officials are in town talking with more police officers who may have had knowledge about the alleged burglary.
