Man considered armed and dangerous is now in police custody

CAMERON, WV -- Marshall County deputies, K 9's and U-S Marshalls searched a 10-mile area in Cameron early this morning, and caught their man.
55-year-old James Manganelli is now in police custody.
He allegedly fired shots and pistol-whipped a man during a home invasion in Cameron.
Manganelli is charged with malicious wounding, nightime burglary, wanton endangerment, and injury during a commission of a felony.
Marshall County Chief Deputy Kevin Cecil tells wtrf.com he was seen near his home in Cameron last night. Officers went to the scene and noticed things were out of place at his home.
This morning they set up an intense search.
K9's tracked the suspect to Fletcher Hill where authorities discovered him hiding in a tree.
Cecil says he had survival gear with him and canned food.
