Wheeling Island -- Here is a list of the top ten contestants that made their way to next week's semifinals next Thursday, July 9th at the Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack's Showroom:

Matt Van Fossen from Martins Ferry.

Gary Barker of East Liverpool.

Heather McCardle of Wheeling.

Cy Yaegel of Shadyside.

Megan Berisford of Benwood.

MaryBeth O'Brian of Cameron.

Risha Marple of Bellaire.

Elizabeth Eddy of Wheeling.

Amy Melissen of Washington, PA.

Franni Wright of Wheeling.

Tonight was country music night featuring the Fabulous Bender Boys.

Next week, contestants will have a live band featuring Top 40 music. That's Thursday, July 9th beginning at 7:00pm.

The finals are July 23rd.
