HOPEDALE, OHIO -- Jefferson County authorities have two men in custody after a traffic stop overnight sends officers on a wild ride.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a car on US 22 near the Harrison County line last night, and found both men inside were wanted.
The passenger, James Rowe, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.
The driver, Daniel Renforth, then sped off in the car, leading deputies and Ohio Highway Patrol on a chase before going airborne and flipping the car near the Hopedale exit.
Renforth then ran on foot, but was caught two miles later.
Renforth was wanted on a felony warrant out of Hancock County.
Both men are in the Jefferson County Jail.
