Sheriff Richard Ferguson tells us that he is gathering deputies and area fire chiefs together in an effort to find the person or persons responsible for setting the fires.

The Sheriff says that there was a fire this week on Washington Pike, but he says he does not suspect arson, but he would not elaborate on what may have caused the blaze.
