Newcomerstown, Ohio -- The big story floating around about the catch of the day in the Tuscarawas River on Monday near New Comerstown, was not about a bass, catfish or a trout.
It was about an alligator that was 2ft. long!
Sheriff Walt Wilson said it was discovered under a State Route 258 bridge.
The alligator was caught and transported to a rescue shelter in Cincinnati, Ohio. Several people have told the Sheriff that they believe another alligator that measures 4 ft. long could exist.
