WEST LIBERTY -- No.12 West Liberty cruised to a ninth straight victory with a 48-21 win over Seton Hill at Russek Field, clinching the West Virginia Conference title outright for the first time since 1971.
Quarterback Zach Amedro, who leads the nation in touchdown passes, threw four more Saturday, giving him 37 on the season. Amedro passed for 366 yards and went over 300 yards for the 10th straight game.
Receiver Kashif Walls caught five passes, three for for touchdowns. Slot receiver Eddie Hills had 10 catches for 175 yards.
The Hilltoppers improved to 9-1 on the season, and wrap up the regular season hosting Concord at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
