WEST LIBERTY -- West Virginia Conference Champion West Liberty finished the regular season with 10 straight victories after a 64-42 rout of Concord at Russek Field.

The 64 points is the most points this season by the high-flying Hilltoppers, who rank No.1 in the country in total offense (526 ypg).

West Liberty quarterback Zach Amedro etched his name in the national record books, by passing for over 300 yards for a Division II-record 11th consecutive time this season. He passed Brett Salisbury of Wayne State (Neb.) who set the previous mark of 10 in 1993. Keith Null of West Texas A&M had a total 11 300-yard passing games in 2008, which Amedro has now tied. Amedro also went over 4,000 yards for his career.

Amedro was 28 of 37 for 377 yards with four touchdown passes. His 41 TD passes leads the nation.

The receiving corps benefited from Amedro's generosity. Ryan Travis and Kashif Walls each caught two touchdowns. Walls now has 19 TD's, a West Liberty receiving record. Slot back Eddie Hills had three touchdowns, two on the ground and one through the air.

West Liberty running back Kevon Calhoun rushed for 98 yards and a score.

The Hilltoppers (10-1) (8-0) virtually assured themselves a bye next week, and will host a playoff game in two weeks at Rusek Field.

The Hilltoppers perfect conference record is the first since 1956.
