BELLAIRE, Ohio -- Tents and base camps are being set up on the north end of Bellaire, Ohio.
Homes are being measured and revamped for interior scenes.
And one big train sequence has apparently already been shot.
Bellaire is buzzing with excitement thanks to the filming of "Unstoppable," starring Denzel Washington.
Bellaire is filled with curiosity and excitement.
It's also filled with police cruisers.
Officers from Shadyside, Mt. Pleasant, Bethesda, Martins Ferry and Bellaire were pressed into service, cordoning off the areas where they were shooting scenes.
Monday, a small blue and yellow train was rumbling over the tracks over the old stone bridge, a long-time Bellaire landmark.
The train is followed closely by a helicopter, which begins by hovering motionless in the air, then charging over the train.
People watched, fascinated.
"It looked to me as if they're just basically looking things over, to see if they're going to get some good camera angles," said Edgar Miller of Bellaire, who was watching the action early in the morning.
Some businesses like the Family Dollar have closed for the week, because street closures have made them inaccessible to their customers.
Movie employees and their gear are everywhere.
Janet Uchbar, of Bellaire, got up at 5 a.m. And the movie people were in her house by 6 a.m.
"Well there was a knock on my door and it was the art department, wanting to measure some things," said Uchbar. "They're going to take my furniture out and bring their furniture in."
When the film's advance people were in Bellaire this summer, Uchbar says she gave them a wave and some friendly conversation, and one thing led to another.
"Then they asked if they could come inside the house about their third trip here, and I said yeah," she recalls. "He said I definitely want to film in that house."
Now they are camped out in her kitchen, working on plans to turn her living room into a movie set.
Uchbar is taking it all with good grace and a sense of humor.
"For once, I live on the right side of the railroad tracks," she said.
