WARWOOD -- A Warwood man was injured after a backhoe rolled on top of him while he was working on the Third Street Ballfield Monday night.
According to witnesses, the man was working on the field around 8:45 p.m. Monday when the vehicle rolled over on top of him.
Wheeling-Ohio County Dispatch said the injuries did not seem to be life-threatening.
The man appeared to have a broken leg and was taken to a local hospital.
Six local men have been working on the field for months trying to get it completed before bad weather hits.
