It happened, at the split between I-70 and I-79 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The Lakeview Drive bridge is in South Strabane Township between the two points where the interstates intersect. It collapsed at around 6:15pm Tuesday night. A 20 to 30 foot section of guard rail and concrete debris fell between 50 and 60 feet to the road below. Even though the interstate is cracked, it seems it remains intact. One car ran into the overpass once it had collapsed but there were only minor injuries reported.
