Ohio Congressman Bob Ney speaks to 7 News to clear the record on allegations against him.

By Jennifer Shoulders

Ohio Congressman Bob Ney says he is confident that he will be found innocent of any wrong-doing, saying that it is significant that he is listed as 15th in the order of those who supposedly acccepted contributions from Lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Ney commented that he thinks people questioning him should come to his district to see the work that he has done. He also added that he won't dwell on the contribution contraversy, because he doesn't really know that much about it.

As of right now, neither Ney, nor any of his staff, has been indicted by any governmental agency.
