If you remember, Aubrey has a rare disease that prevents her from living life in the light.

She recently had a stem cell transplant to give her a shot at a normal life, and her family said the transplant has been deemed a success.

Aubrey remains at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, facing still many obstacles ahead, but it is a major hurdle she has now overcome.
