So I'm a little late. Just found this posting. The new bridge connecting WV & Ohio in this area should be located at the foot of SR 151 crossing over to north of Follansbee

when I first read about this bridge it came to me that it is proposed by WV. and not Ohio Yet it has become funded by oth states for the site reviews. And now they want this bridge to come into Brilliant in 3 different choices of locations. And truly only one seems reasonable. . How can they even think about dumping traffic on 3rd St. in Brilliant or taking part of the schools property? ( 2 locations do just that). Maybe the bridge is needed and even economic growth may happen . Even if its temporary while the bridge is built. But after that? along Rt 2? on a hillside? businesses ? I think this needs a longer and harder look then they gave the "bridge to nowhere " in Alaska.

I think the new bridge should go between Sistersville and Fly. That is a much needed bridge.

That is a much needed bridge! With the bridge woes in steub/weirton we need an alternative way to cross the river in a emergency situation. It would surely help Wellburg's economy. I hope it gets built soon!
