HOPEDALE, OHIO -- The Harrison County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in a robbery at the American Legion in Hopedale just last week. Deputies arrested Roger Andress of Parlett, Ohio in Jefferson County.

The break-in was caught on tape. Surveillance video showed a man coming in through the back of the building and walking out with money and alcohol.

Jewett Police Chief Ron Carter tells 7 News and wtrf.com that he was investigating Andress for a separate matter, before he was arrested for selling drugs near the elementary school in Jewett, Ohio.

Carter has charged Andress with a felony charge of drug trafficking. He also faces one felony count of burglary. He is lodged in the Jefferson County Jail on $20,000 bond.
