WHEELING -- A suspect that allegedly stabbed a person in front of the Sportman Club in downtown Wheeling at 1425 Market St. is now in custody.

The incident happened around 4:20 p.m. Monday and officials said the victim knew the man that allegedly slashed him in the arm and cut off part of his hair.

The suspect is Gardner Deegan, 47, of Shadyside, Ohio.
