ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- The former budget manager of Ohio University Eastern has entered a plea of guilty to one count of theft in office, a third-degree felony.
Cheryl Zambori of Bridgeport is charged with embezzling approximately $70,000 from the university when she worked there.
She entered the guilty plea before Judge Jennifer Sargus Nov. 16.
She faces a maximum possible penalty of one to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Her sentencing is set for Dec. 14.
Zambori remains free on personal recognizance bond.
