Wheeling Church Gives Away Thanksgiving Food Baskets

Economic hardship this year has a local church doubling their Thanksgiving food basket giveaway.

WHEELING -- If economic hardships have you up against a wall this Thanksgiving, a local church is who you might be thankful for this holiday season.

The Rev. Darrell Cummings says the Bethlehem Apostolic Temple's congregation knows these are hard times.

In response, they decided to double the number of Thanksgiving food baskets they are giving out.

Through partners and friends of the ministry, the church is handing out truckloads of food this morning at the Bethlehem Temple at 330 Main Street, 10 a.m. to noon.

It is a first-come, first-serve basis.
