The conference, ExportTech - Doing Business in the Americas, is offered through the West Virginia District Export Council.
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS -- A "how-to" guide for West Virginia businesses interested in exporting to Central and South America is scheduled for Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 at The Greenbrier.
Diego Gattesco of the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Wheeling said the event is designed to connect those in the business community with organizations that can overcome obstacles and execute an export game plan.
"(The conference) is a two-day, intensive action-oriented program designed to jump start your international sales growth in Latin America and other foreign markets," Gattesco said in a news release.
It will include more than 30 professional experts, small group discussions and one-on-one coaching.
Cost of the event is $195. Lodging at The Greenbrier may be added for $199 per night plus fees and taxes.
Related events include a Webinar series "Trade Winds 2010: The Americas" and a forum in Sao Paulo, Brazil, planned April 25 to April 30, 2010.
