this child is my son and no it not his girlfriend but i believe he was set up by his girlfriends family .my son is slow thats one of just many reasons why he gets si. he has a mind of a young kid hisself he very slow and needs help he nedds a therpist and stuff .i have tried to help him please do not jude him the wrong way i believe that his girlfriends family set all this up because they know the fami;y of the girl i believe my son is not guilty

This guy is a child himself and five bucks says the victim was his "girlfriend" and wanted it as much as he did. Heck, she probably went so far as to tell him she was at least 16.

Statutory rape (third sexual assault) isn't the same as violent rape and it's really too bad they're treated the same in the eyes of the public.

I agree that the penalties for this type of crime are not strong enough. It is tragic that you get more time for a property crime than an act of violence against a child.

That being said, he has not had his trial yet. We need to let the court do its job before we hang him in the public opinion.
