CADIZ, Ohio -- A man accused of beating his son with a 2-by-4 board is out on bond.

According to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, Greg Sweeny, 44, beat his own child so badly that he had to seek medical attention.

According to the report, he is charged with endangering children and recklessly causing physical harm.

Pictures show that the boy had bruises all over his body, and details in the report stated the boy alleged that his father stipulated that, when he hit him, if his knee touched the ground, he would hit him again.

The sheriff's office would not comment on the report.

Hope the child is safely far from this family. If my husband came after my kid with a two by four, I'd make sure I came between the plank and my child. Any woman who stays with a child beater needs to be involantarily committed.

I feel that the Laws forgot to atend their own courts, When you have Lady blind folded you can realy see the way we take care of our future (The Kids). We punish people for been old, caring, helping laws, and just being a good neighbor. I know of a case with a Child in Belmont County, Ohio that was about a child that was beating with a board and mentaly abused, in this case the court found him a man that just needed Parenting Class and Anger Management and small : Why didnt they just say we understand you not a bad person mow have a lollipop and go home :. This was not the first time this Kind and Loving man was in court

WOLFHURST, OHIO -- The Belmont County Sheriff's Department arrested 19-year-old Chad E. Comas of Wolfhurst after they allegedly found him with a weapon.

Chief Deputy Joe Hummel said investigators believe Comas fired several rounds near the creek in Worley Addition.

According to Hummel, when deputies found Comas, they also found 21 marijuana plants.

Comas is now charged with possession and firing a weapon while intoxicated.

He is beind held in the Belmont County Jail.

Can we please give this Courts a Big Hand for standing up for a person rights and for the ones who can't "The Children of Our Future"

People like this makes it a great world, no wonder Children run away or become a Past memory.

I would like a place were all the People that do this to Children can live together without the Children and Beat the hell out each other make their own hell for their self. Because Jail don't always don't work.

I think Step Parents and Foster Families that take the Child from the abuse need to be giving award and placed on a Wall of Greatness.

We happen to "For the People by the People"

I know of a man in ohio who beat a boy with a stick and all he got was 5 days community service. Then beat up his girlfriend a month later and he still is not in jail. This person has been in trouble with the law many times.

I wish that boy could come live with me so he could know what a true loving Father does for his son. I wish I could beat his "dad" with a 2x4.
