Amy joined the 7 News team in September 2009 as a producer for the 5:00pm and 6:00 pm newscasts. In November of 2009, Amy took on the role of producer/reporter and in July of 2010 Amy was moved to the role of reporter, digital journalist/fill-in anchor/fill-in producer.
Amy was formerly a journalist for the web site Examiner.com. She wrote about different news happenings that occurred in and around the Pittsburgh area. Amy also held the position of account executive at an advertising and public relations agency in Pittsburgh. She also anchored, reported and worked behind-the-scenes for WPSU-TV, the PBS affiliate in State College, PA during college.
A Penn State University graduate, Amy is a true Nittany Lions fan. She loves anything Penn State, and bleeds blue and white. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Health Policy and Administration.
In her spare time, Amy loves to figure skate, ski, dance, travel, spend time with family and friends, learn about new and social media and of course attend Penn State football games!
