Nailers Open Training Camp - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The 20th season of pro hockey officially opened in Wheeling on Monday as the Wheeling Nailers opened their training camp.

The Nailers will practice daily at WesBanco Arena and play three preseason games starting on Thursday in Johnstown, Friday in Wheeling and Saturday in Cincinnati all against the Cyclones.

The Nailers will open the regular season on Oct. 14 at Greenville.

The Nailers home opener is Saturday Oct. 22 against Elmira.
