Shadyside Defeats Bridgeport 35-7 - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The Shadyside Tigers, the 2010 Division VI runner-up, are making another run at the post-season.

The Tigers, who have won four of the last five, defeated the Bridgeport Bulldogs 35-7 at Fleming Field.

Shadyside, now 6-3 on the season, will host struggling Barnesville (7-2) next Friday night. A win over the Shamrocks would just about assure the Tigers a home playoff game. Shadyside was No.3 in the Division VI rankings coming into the game.

The Bulldogs slip to 3-6. They host Cameron next Friday night.
