
The Brooke Bruins scored four times in the first eight plays on the way to a 63-7 dismantling of win less Weir High (0-8) at Carey Stadium.
Brooke senior running back Tim Faulkner carried the ball seven times for a career-high 248 yards and four touchdowns. Most of his yards came on just two plays of 80 and 90 yards.
Junior quarterback Alec Buchmelter completed seven-of-eight passes for 266 yards and four scores--two to Mason Bates.
The Bruins led 31-0 after the first quarter, and 51-0 at the half.
Brooke, now 4-4 on the season, visits winless John Marshall (0-8) next Friday night in Moundsville.
Weir High (0-8) will host East Liverpool next Friday night.
