Roger Lyons manages the three local network affiliate television stations at WTRF as well as WTRF.COM, which are owned and operated by West Virginia Media. He is a West Virginia native who has worked in the television industry for more than 30 years in a number of different places. Lyons joined West Virginia Media in 2002, returning to his home state from Michigan. He has been managing the WTRF television properties since 2004.
Lyons has served on a number of both media and community related boards in several states throughout his career. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors as Past President of the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. He is also Vice President of the Board of Directors for Wheeling Health Right, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center. Lyons is also a member of the Wheeling Rotary Club.
