WHEELING -

A suspect wanted in the Belmont County shootings late Thursday has been arrested on the other side of the river.

Wheeling police arrested Jordan Davis, 21, of Martins Ferry, Sunday night on un-related charges.

Davis is wanted in West Virginia for a third offense domestic that happened back in September. On September 14, officers were called to the residence of Davis's on-and-off girlfriend at the time after he allegedly pushed her to the ground multiple times.

According to police reports, Davis told the victim that he would "punch her like a man" if she attempted to get up and call police.

Davis was arraigned by Magistrate Joe Roxby and is behind bars on $100,000 cash-only bond.

No word if he will be extradited to Belmont County to face charges related to the shootings.
