Major Accident on Route 2 in Brooke County

WTRF.com has confirmed that there was a serious motor vehicle accident on Route 2 North just north of Wabash Bridge.

Earl Habbit, 79, of Wellsburg died in the accident.

The road was shut down for some time but has since been cleared up.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Brook County Sheriff's Dept.
