2 Dead Following Early Morning Accident

MOUNDSVILLE -

Two people are dead after an early morning accident in Moundsville.

According to Moundsville Police, the car was traveling southbound on Route 2 when it crashed around 3:13 a.m near 8th Street and Progressive Bank.

Police say they believe the accident was speed related.

Right now, names of the driver and passenger are not being released while their families are notified.
