An elderly man was arrested and charged multiple counts after causing an accident on I-70 early Friday morning.
According to Wheeling Police, 76-year-old Gene Frederick of Martins Ferry went the wrong way up Exit 2A to Interstate 70, when he collided with a semi-truck just after 4:15 a.m.
Frederick was lucky to only receive minor injuries, but was arrested and charged for driving with a suspended license, unable to provide insurance, failure to obey traffic control and a one-way street violation.
