Road Re-open After Tractor Trailer Jack-knifed

Pierce's Run Road is now open to traffic after a tractor trailer jack-knifed there Friday afternoon.

The Brooke County Sheriff's Department said the semi was trying to make a right hand turn off of Washington Pike in Brooke County when it got stuck in mud, then jack-knifed.

Both lanes at the top of Pierce's Run Road were closed to traffic when the accident happened..

Traffic was rerouted near Franklin Cemetery.
