Another Ohio Valley football coaching job has been filled, as longtime coach Tony Filberto is switching schools going from Oak Glen back to Weir High.

Filberto is no stranger at Weir High, having served as an assistant coach and head coach on four other occasions.

Filberto leaves Oak Glen, where he turned the Golden Bears into a Class 2-A contender over the past four seasons.

last year's team won a school-record 10 games, and Filberto led to Golden Bears to 27 wins and two playoff appearances...

Weir High has posted third straight 1-9 seasons.

Filberto knows the Red Riders have been "down" since they last won the state title in 2005, but he vows to return this tradition-rich program to prominence.

Filberto was last at Weir High between 2002 and 2004 as the head coach ,he was an assistant coach at Weir going back to Dan McGrew in the 80's and through Wayne Neely when they won the state championship with Quincy Wilson and company in 1998.
